Most churches have the same two experiences with comedy. The first is the Christian comedian whose set is safe, sweet and forgettable. The second is the club comic who was funny right up until the joke nobody could un-hear. Crosseyed Comedy exists for the people who want a third option.

We are four working comedians who have been on late-night TV, Amazon, Dry Bar Comedy and nationally syndicated radio, and who happen to have a heart for God. The shows are 100% clean because that is how we write, not because somebody handed us a list of banned words. The laughs are real because the material comes from real life: marriage, kids, church potlucks, getting older, and the gap between who we meant to be this morning and who we were by lunch.

What a Crosseyed Comedy show is

Every booking is built from the same four pieces, mixed to fit your room and your schedule.

  • Standup

The heart of the night. Two to four comedians from the ensemble, each with a tight set, plus an emcee who keeps the energy up between acts.

  • Sketch

Short scripted scenes, often about church life, that give the night texture and give your worship team something to quote for months.

  • Audience participation

Game-show segments that bring volunteers (or the pastor) on stage. Nobody gets embarrassed; everybody gets a story.

  • A word, if you want one

Many churches ask for a short, sincere close: a testimony or a gospel moment from one of the comedians. Say the word and it is part of the show.

Events we are booked for most

  • Church comedy nights

Friday or Saturday outreach shows the congregation can bring friends to.

  • Fundraisers and galas

Ticketed shows and banquet entertainment for schools, missions, pregnancy centers and nonprofits.

  • Couples and date nights

Marriage-ministry events where the jokes are about the one thing everyone in the room shares.

  • Sermon kickoffs

A short set that opens a service and hands the room back warmed up.

  • Men's, women's and youth events

Retreats, breakfasts and conferences that need a laugh between sessions.

  • Community and city-wide outreach

Festivals, concerts in the park, and multi-church events that need a headliner everyone can watch.

What booking looks like

You send the date, city, venue, expected crowd and the kind of night you want. We reply with availability, a suggested lineup and format, and a clear price. From there you get one point of contact, a simple agreement, a tech rider that fits in one email (a microphone, a stool and a light), and promotional assets: photos, bios, a short reel and ready-to-post social graphics.

On the night, the comedians arrive early, sound-check quietly, and keep to the time you gave them. Your pastor gets the room back exactly when the schedule says.

Serving Arizona and traveling nationwide

Crosseyed Comedy is based in the Phoenix area and performs across Arizona, including Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Glendale, Surprise, Tucson and Flagstaff, with no travel fee inside the Valley. We also travel nationwide; for out-of-state dates we quote flights and lodging up front so there are no surprises.

Questions planners ask

Is the show really clean?

Yes. No profanity, no crude material, no jokes at the expense of anyone's faith. The comedians perform the same clean sets in comedy clubs, so clean is simply how they work, not a special mode for churches.

How many comedians come?

Crosseyed Comedy is booked as an ensemble, and we size the lineup to the event: a smaller group for a sermon kickoff or banquet segment, the full showcase with an emcee for a Friday-night comedy night. The specific comedians vary by date and region, and we confirm the lineup when you book.

How long is a show?

A full showcase runs 75 to 90 minutes with no intermission, or two 45-minute halves with a break for your offering, announcements or dessert. Sermon kickoffs are 10 to 15 minutes. We fit your schedule, not the other way around.

Can the comedians include a gospel message?

Absolutely, and many churches ask for it. One of the comedians can close with a short, sincere word or testimony, or you can hand the microphone to your pastor. It is your night; you set the tone.

What does it cost to hire Christian comedians?

Pricing depends on how many comedians, how long a show, travel, and whether it is a ticketed fundraiser or a free outreach event. Send us the details and you will have a clear quote the same week. Many churches cover the fee entirely from ticket sales or a love offering.

What do you need from the venue?

A microphone, a stool, a light on the stage, and an audience. We bring the rest. A sanctuary, fellowship hall, gym or theater all work; we have played all of them.
